SOITC organizes several events across the continent and throughout the year. All  Elite, Mobile or Select suites owners are welcome and encouraged to attend the outings.

Suites Owners 2009 – 4th Annual International Rally

The theme for the SOITC 2009 Rally is “Home Suite Home” and shall be held at the Elkhart Fairgrounds & Community Center located in Goshen IN with arrival on June 2nd, after 11:00 AM and departure on June 7th 2009.
Rally Accommodations
Your “Suite” will rest on level and long hardstand gravel site’s, that has water, 30/50 amp electric and black water hook-up amenities. Also Wi-Fi internet service is available inside the park. If you have satellite, most sites can scan the southern skies but, very few sites are shaded. Additional services include Showers & restrooms (handicapped assessable), laundry facility, paved & gravel roads, public phones, Security lighting and a friendly campground staff. Their meeting facility is enclosed and climate controlled “The Elkhart Community Center” exists for Club activities and can hold 300 people and has a kitchen – serving line and restrooms

Our membership and all of our events are open to all Suite owners of Select, Mobile and Elite manufactured models.

Five nights of RV space |
There are 100 sites available on a first come first serve basis with full hook-ups W/E/S and the electric is 30/50 amps |

Catered meals |
Currently planning with a variety of presentations. This also includes having a women’s luncheon, a Club first. |

Factory Tours |
Currently we will be able to have and MOR/ryde plant tours. |

Seminars |
Working with to have several different RV product manufacturer representatives present tips about their products. E.g. Dometic awnings, convection / microwave ovens, refrigerators etc, Winegard antennas, Lippert and Trail Air Service Center as well as possible other DT suppliers |

Optional Pre Rally Activities |
Golf Tournament, Garage Sale, Visitor Centers, optional dinner theaters, and or restaurant packages, etc. |

Rally RV Product Displays |
Coordinating for different types of vendor displays and possible rally pricing for several aftermarket RV products. Once we have confirmed availability with supplier we will be posting additional announcements |

Club Meeting & Free Time |
Conduct required regional meetings and Club Board elections per our approved By-laws. Have actual time during the rally to visit local area of interest sites and explore the culture surroundings |

There will be a pre-Rally Dutch Oven Gathering Sunday May 31. Bring your Iron Pots, a recipe and the ingredients and lets cook together. See Betty Johnson pre Rally for details and information. Cooking will start at 3:00 PM and Dinner will be at 5:30 PM. |

“RAFFLE & DOOR PRIZES”
Thanks again to the direct support of Doubletree Management, their dealers and independent RV product distributors we will have several door prizes to award.
This year we again request support from our club members. If you would bring a donated gift, which is optional, it can be from your local dealer and or an RV type donation useable during any members travel. Please look for me, Judy Hudson as I am organizing the raffle and door-prize display. As in the past all funds received by this event are deposited in the Club Treasury and returned to club members through activities and events at future annual rallies. |

RVSEF (Recreation Vehicle Safety & Education Foundation) will be available at a specific location at the rally on your arrival June 2nd and departure, June 7th to weigh your rig.

Thursday, June 4th we will have 3 craft classes you may sign up for at registration. One class with the 8x8 wall hanging "Home Is Where We Park It" requires participants to have several small (4x6 or smaller) photos you don't mind cutting up. If this class is of interest to you, please bring photos with you! Betty says the pictures to cut up can be of family, children, pets, your Suite, travels, anything goes! |

Thursday, June 4th evening please note at the Hot dog/Hamburger meal you are asked to bring a dish for potluck. There is no sign-up necessary!
Last names beginning with A-L would bring a side dish to go along with the hot dogs and hamburgers provided by SOITC.
Last names beginning with M-Z would bring a dessert.
Also that evening following the meal we will have a Country/Western Dance with line dance lessons. Wear your western clothes to this theme party, if you wish. |

WearHaus Good News!!!
Everyone has been asking when will WearHaus be coming back to SOITC Rallys? Well here is the good news. WearHaus will be returning to the Suitesowners’ Rally in Goshen, IN June 2-7 2009.
At Goshen, there will be a display of sample items with the logo and without the logo so members may inspect them before placing an order at the Rally. Since WearHaus is a supporter of SOITC, each sale supports our club treasury.
If orders are placed early in the week, they will be delivered with the logo by the next day. Display samples with and without logos include Men’s Golf and T-Shirts, Jackets, Men’s and Women’s Denim Shirts and Vests, Ball Caps Throws(small blankets)and more.
As previously stated, orders at the Rally or phone orders will be taken prior to the Rally for delivery upon arrival.
